Weekly driver: Cab drivers desperately need the money and the doormen as well the dispatchers know that very well. They figured out the easy way to take money from the cabbies. They're getting rich, and the cabbies being the right servants.

crazy dude: hey cab driver, I am with you. when door man ask me for money, I tell them this is bullshit. then, I walk up to the customer and tell them what kind of hotel is this, that door man ask me for money to take you to JFK, they will cost you to delay your flight. don't you tip them? and this is no bull shit, this happen at yotel on 10 ave. a couple of month ago.
CreditCardCabbie: Look like TLC don't take cabby's problems seriously. They refuse to respond to these issues. Is there any TLC hotline to call?
cab driver: Cabbies paying 6 to 7 dollars to doorman in city to go to jfk why?? They dont deserve this money coz 45-8=37-4.80-tax and all that y cabbies give money to doormans so next time.they'll ask for it again..its getting tough..

Weekly driver: Soon, smokers can't afford to buy cigarettes, because the TLC and the garages keep cabbies on trimmed incomes. In eight years, everything went up, and nobody wants to help the cabdrivers. Stop smoking is a good thing, but we have responsibility to bring food to the table and pay the bills. With trimmed incomes, life is getting very hard for the working cabbies.

Stephen: Maybe 5 percent of cabdrivers smoking, and some drinks after work, but the majorities are health-conscious people. They wouldn't want any toxic alcohol or fumes in their system. Keep in mind cabbies are active listeners to the Gary Null' show on WBAI!
Abu: Well, it is over fifty thousand cabbies paying that every year. Do any cabdriver use drugs?
Stephen: Why is the mandatory drug test every year for cabdrivers? It should be randomly just like for police, sanitation and MTA workers! It's FREE for them, to cabbies cost $26 every year! Why?
Weekly driver: I listened to Taxi Insider’s radio show. They talked about serious taxi issues. This show empowered me to do more, so much we could do for positive changes right here on this website, as well on the Taxi Radio Show. Cabdrivers have the media, and let's keep comments and questions rising. We wanted a problem-free taxi industry where cabdrivers and passengers are positively satisfied!

This is good news for all of us! Do you have comments or questions concerning to the Driver’s Bill of Rights?
Mr.shani kumar
Yeah it sure is a good new year. And yesterday the city thanked me for all the money they steal from me and all the BS I have to put up with while driving a cab by giving me THREE yellow tickets for simply driving around another cab that was dropping off a passenger and making a right turn down Broadway. Improper right turn, unsafe lane change (how being that no cars were behind me and I did signal) and driving in a buslane for about 3 feet after making the turn because my passenger wanted to get off on the right side..Maybe someone on this website can answer for me: When is the last time you seen an MTA bus driver get a ticket? For me I’ve never seen it despite the fact that on 3 occasions an MTA bus purposely hit my cab and drove off and one time actually pushing my yellow cab with the bumper of the bus while I was dropping off a passenger. I’m curious what the ACLU will say about all this because to me this nonsense goes on strictly because of bias by the city of New York because most taxi drivers are immigrants.
Hard to believe that NYC cabbies have been further TROD ON when there was nothing left of them, medallion pick-up rights have been double sold. Unbelievable. Once Bloombreg became Mayor of NYC, the cabbies became his recreational playground, and environment in which to “play the market.” Cabbies are expendable. Owner and driver medallion rights have been double-sold. Unbelievable, and you can’t get this manipulator out of the mayorship. He won’t get out.
Sorry, my time is more important than “awaiting moderation.”
On this website if a visitor reserves a cab, who is the cab driver?
to Big Froggie; It could be any cabdriver with the perfectly clean cab.
