some taxi are still running during the bad weather, they are helping and making every effort to transport people while the MTA are crippled. it is the time for the people to learn to appreciate the job yellow cab does. especially to downtown manhattan in a total black out, I think the city should make tuesday to be a nyc yellow cab appreciation date for all the hard work and honest yellow cab driver.
Utility workers refuse to work, they want more money . Electric bills, gas price will go up . Why work if all the money you make goes to pay bills .
I’m a citizen interested in buying a totaled, Sandy-flooded Ford Transit cab-cheap! Can anyone point me in the right direction to a cab company, salvage yard or insurance company that is looking to unload this type of vehicle in the wake of Sandy. I have no problem signing a waiver or buying a vehicle with a salvage title.
