Brighton Beach Borinca: To Zen. Log ago regulators and fleet rental garages (the taxi powers) decided they would become zillionaires, and cabbies would NOT have a living wage. Even 12/7/365 working, can't make it. The ultimate goal is desperate part timers will be cabbies making about $40 a shift profit for a little extra money. Just look at and read the front page of the Taxi Insider February issue, power celebrated and cabbies still whining and begging, if only they could get their message thru. Cabbies are in long-ago designed grand scheme to fail. Grand scheme: Private cabbies must eventually fail too.
